Digging Around
We have now finished the installation of the digging areas in the playground and these have been filled with compost. The staff are looking forward to planting various vegetables and herbs with the children which we will then cook and use in their meals.
Safer Food, Better Hygiene Certificate
Well done and thank you to Sabrina who has recently obtained a Certificate from Gedling Borough Council for "Safer Food Better Hygiene" confirming the fact that she keeps everything in the kitchen spotless and prepares food correctly. Although this is something which all of the staff would do in any case, it is never the less wonderful to have it formally recognised.
Baby Room
The ceiling has recently been decorated with Under the Sea and Butterfly garden themes complete with Kites !
Raffle
A charity raffle will take place in the next few weeks. Thank you to the parents and carers who have already donated items for it. If you have any unwanted Christmas presents, or gifts, bring them to the nursery and we will put them in the raffle to raise money for a worthy cause.
